Middle School Self-Portrait (Dotting Technique)

This is a self-portrait I created using only a black pen and paint while I was part of my middle school art club. The piece was made through a dotting technique, a slow and detailed process that required patience and careful control. Working on this portrait helped me develop a stronger sense of observation and precision, and it introduced me to a more experimental approach to art. Looking back, this piece represents an important stage in my artistic growth, where I began exploring different techniques and expressing my identity through more intentional forms of creativity.
